Behind a hand-carved cedar door, Amani unfolds around a light-filled courtyard: warm woods, Berber rugs, arched niches and the soft glow of Marrakchi lanterns.
Amani means “wishes” in Arabic, and ours was a simple one: a house in Marrakech where guests are not checked in, but expected. Where the pool has no clock, the tea arrives before you ask, and the medina’s wonders wait ten minutes away while its noise stays outside the walls.
We run it the way we would want to be hosted ourselves. Ayoub welcomes you and shapes your days, Moustafa keeps the house shining and the breakfast generous, Abdo keeps everything running without a sound, and I make sure Amani never feels like a hotel, but like a house that already knows you.
